Here are just a few points of interest about this great animal.

• Is extremely powerful and aggressive.
• Can climb high walls if there are suitable horizontal footholds.
• If it can get its chin on top of a wall, will be able to pull itself over.
• Is susceptible to sunburn.
• Will charge people if they are visible.
• The floor of the pen should not be stony or rocky.
• Cows and calves can be kept together.
• Bulls should always be housed individually.
